Paul Asadoorian
Paul Asadoorian (GCIA, GCIH) currently works for OSHEAN as the Senior Network Security Engineer, providing penetration testing, security training, and intrusion detection services to colleges, universities, and non-profits in the New England area. Paul's previous positions include Lead IT Security Engineer for a large University where he was responsible for intrusion detection, firewalls, VPN, and networking assessments/penetration testing in the educational IT space, and providing similar services to a company in the lottery industry. He speaks frequently on topics such as wireless security at events such as MIT Security Camp. Paul's research has been featured in numerous publications such as Network Intrusion Detection, 3rd edition, Securityfocus.com, (IN)Secure Magazine, and the SANS Reading Room. In addition to owning and operating an independent security consulting company, Defensive Intuition, Paul is also the host of PaulDotCom Security Weekly (http://pauldotcom.com), a weekly podcast discussing IT security news, vulnerabilities, hacking, and research, including interviews with some of the top security professionals. He is also the co author of "Ultimate WRT54G Hacking", a book dedicated to embedded device hacking and wireless security. He holds two SANS GIAC certifications in intrusion detection (with honors) and another in incident handling and hacker exploits, in addition to teaching and authoring courses for The SANS Institute, including SEC535 "Embedded Device Hacking". Paul graduated from Bryant College with a degree in Computing and Information Systems, and is currently on the SANS GIAC advisory board.

Max Caceres, Director of R+D, Matasano Security Max is director of research and development for Matasano Security, where he is responsible for Matasano's product development, including technology research, product management, and product marketing. Max is an industry veteran with over 14 years of product development and security research experience, and one of the security industry's leading experts on penetration testing. In addition to his role in product development, Max routinely leads security testing engagements for Matasano's key customers.

Prior to joining Matasano Max was product management director for Core Security, where he helped create and position Core's innovative product CORE IMPACT as the market leader in automated penetration testing. At Core Max led the engineering team responsible for delivering the first releases of CORE IMPACT and co-invented several now patented technologies including system call proxying, a technology with broad implications in security, remote management and application-layer virtualization. Max holds a BSCS, Summa Cum Laude, from Boston University.

David Mortman

David MortmanAs CSO-in-Residence, David Mortman, is responsible for Echelon One's research and analysis program. Formerly the Chief Information Security Officer for Siebel Systems, Inc., David and his team were responsible for Siebel's worldwide IT security infrastructure, both internal and external. He also worked closely with Siebel's product groups and the company's physical security team and is leading up Siebel's product security and privacy efforts. Previously, Mr. Mortman was Manager of IT Security at Network Associates, where, in addition to managing data security, he deployed and tested all of NAI's security products before they were released to customers. Before that, Mortman was a Security Engineer for Swiss Bank. A CISSP, member of USENIX/SAGE and ISSA, and an invited speaker at RSA 2002 and 2005 security conferences, Mr. Mortman has also been a panelist and speaker at RSA 2007, InfoSecurity 2003, Blackhat 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, Defcon 2005, 2006 and 2007 and Information Security Decisions 2007 as well. Mr. Mortman sits on a variety of advisory boards including Qualys, Applied Identity and Reflective amongst others. He holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Chicago.

Chris Nickerson is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) whose main area of expertise is focused on information security and Social Engineering. In order to help companies better defend and protect their critical data and key information systems. He has created a blended methodology to assess, implement, and manage information security realistically and effectively.

At Lares, Chris leads a team of security consultants who conduct Security Risk Assessments, which can cover everything from penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, to policy design, computer forensics, Social Engineering, Red Team Testing and regulatory compliance. Prior to starting Lares, Chris was Director of Security Services at Alternative Technology, a Sr. Auditor for SOX compliance at KPMG, Chief Security Architect at Sprint Corporate Security, and developed an enterprise security design as network engineer for an international law firm. Chris also served in the U.S Navy.

In the last 15 years in the computer industry, Larry has become a jack of all trades, with the last several years focused oncomputer security.
